Graduation 2017 Shuttle service announcement and map
While construction in our district continues on all of our campuses, we realize that there will be some parking changes that need to occur in order to accommodate large events.
One of these events is coming up next week. The Slaton High School Graduation will occur on Thursday, May 25th at 7:00 pm in the Slaton High School Gym. This is always an exciting and busy day for so many Slatonites and we want to do everything we can to help make this a smooth and special event for everyone.
Since parking will be limited, Slaton ISD has arranged for Lubbock Citibus to provide Trolley shuttle service from Tiger Football Field to the gym before and after graduation. This service will be offered free of charge and nobody will have to pay to ride.
Doors will open at the high school for seating at 6:00 pm.
The trolley will begin running at 5:30 pm and continue to run until 9:30 pm. Again, the Trolley service will be free for everyone needing a ride. Security will be in place at Tiger field to ensure a safe and orderly experience.
