We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
The United Supermarket – Sara Lee pie sale fund raiser for our MOW ended Nov. 19. Our volunteers received a total of $4180 in donations. We will not have a grand total until the amount received by cashiers at United has been counted. This will take a few more weeks.
We thank all of those that donated! With your support our MOW will continue to serve those in need.
A big thanks to the volunteers who sat at United to receive your donations. Those who served were Fred Watson, Ella Mae Hall, Sandy Goodner, Janis King, Pat Dawson, Nell Cole, Beverly Droemer, Karen Branscum, Beverly Frazier, Albert Rinne, Marolyn Rinne, Lee Meurer, Judy Meurer, Jo Lacy, Steve Colleps, Imogene Davis, Gloria Olivares, Niki Dominguez and Janet James.
Our fundraiser now is a BIG CHRISTMAS STOCKING filled with toys. We are asking if you can donate a toy for kids. Raffle tickets are $1.00 or 6 for $5.00. Come to the center to buy your tickets.
Bingo on Monday the 21st had 29 players. The secret prize was won by Mary Velasquez. The blackout amount of $51.00 was won by Mary Galindo.
Bingo on Monday 28th had 28 players. The secret prize was won by Mona Ramirez. The blackout amount of $46.62 was won by Jo Ann Williams. Come have lunch next Monday and stay to play Bingo.
