South Loop 289 entrance ramp closure scheduled

WHAT: closing the westbound Loop 289 entrance ramp, just east of University Avenue, to traffic
WHEN: beginning 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 21 — Friday, July 25
WHERE: south Loop 289
EVENT: The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to make roadway repairs to the University Avenue bridge on south Loop 289, beginning Monday, July 25.
The westbound entrance ramp and two lanes of Loop 289 will close to traffic at 9:30 a.m., Monday, to allow crews to safely and efficiently make the repairs.
Motorists should anticipate delays and are urge to seek alternative routes around the area. The ramp and main lanes should reopen to traffic late-Friday afternoon.
Work will take place weather permitting.
