The Cook for the Cure BBQ Cook Off benefiting the American Diabetes Association, August 16th at the Slaton Park, 15th & Garza Avenue. $100 entry fee for teams. Fun starts August 15th with the Friday Night Dance featuring Gary Nix and the West Texas Band, $10 at the door.
