I have accepted the head football/boys AD job at plains, We are excited to start our empty nest years in a great, supportive school district. The old saying in coaching is “leave it better than you found it” I can say our staff did that – hard work, instilling character, integrity , effort & honesty into young men who had not been very successful – now those same young men walk a little taller, not afraid to hurt while working & understand that the TEAM is bigger than the individual. Those same young men taught me many things as well, and brought the love of coaching kids back into my soul! I will look back at the 13′-14′ school year as one of my all time favorites – we did what everyone said couldn’t be done!
