Lubbock County Office of Emergency Management is pleased to announce the availability of the
“Lubbock County Storm Shelter Registration Webpage”.
This webpage will be for any Lubbock County Citizen, living outside the City of Lubbock.
The site can be accessed at http://www.co.lubbock.tx.us/department/division.php?fDD=33-213
We request that home/business owners provide this invaluable information for use by first responders during times of emergency or disasters.
When Lubbock County Office of Emergency Management receives this information, it will be placed onto the Mapping system which will allow first responders to pinpoint location of Storm Shelters within Lubbock County.
This process is free to the Citizens of Lubbock County and we strongly encourage them to take the time to fill out the Registration.
Citizens that do not have access to the internet can contact the Lubbock County Office of Emergency Management for assistance in completing their registration.
