Lubbock-Cooper ISD is hosting a dyslexia simulation training on April 15, 2014 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm at Central Elementary. This training is great for any parent, but especially ones that have loved ones (not just students) who have been affected by dyslexia. Lubbock-Cooper staff came and gave this training to our teachers this summer and it was truly amazing, humbling and eye opening. They have graciously opened their invitation to Southland ISD parents and families and I hope you can make time to attend. It helps understand what people with dyslexia go through every day.
