(Slaton ) Rosary for Hermila M. Villarreal, 75 of Slaton, will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., in Englunds Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2016 in Slaton’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Chacko Thadathil officiating. Services are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
She went to be with her lord on Monday, May 23, 2016.
She was born October 30, 1940 in Hondo, TX to Jose Marie and Juanita (Huerta) Alcorta. She married Gregorio Saenz Villarreal, December of 1955 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1991, she was also preceded in death her daughter Sandra Leal in 2015.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, six daughters, Angelita Falana, Juanita Vanderwel, Hope Villarreal, Deanna Salas, Katie De Hoyos, Isabelle Davis and a son Gregorio S. Villarreal, Jr., four sisters, Sophia Narbaez of, Hortencia Botello , Eva Evanglia of, Lydia Ambriz and three brothers Benancio , Jose M. and Manuel Alcorta ,along with twenty-one grandchildren, twenty- four great-grandchildren,
