Final Score Post 34 Slaton 27

updated Sept 14, 2013

Slaton came up short last night in the game against state-ranked Post.  The fight was powerful the entire time on the scoreboard. The Tigers defense had a constant battle at hand for a solid four quarters. In the fourth quarter the Tigers were within one possession to tie the game and compete for a win. Penalties marked both teams the entire game.  Post’s new football field proved to be a winner for Post.

Volunteers – Thank You!

Slaton Clean 1Photo by Lance Bownds

Weeds and More Weeds!  The wonderful rain that we have had has caused a problem that we are not used to handling. Better yet… we are out of practice.  Pictured here are some folks that are volunteering to help out with the problem.  Thank you!   Slaton appreciates your help!   The intersection area around Hwy 84 is the responsibility of the State Highway Deportment, but sometime we all have to chip in and help!
