Steve Wheeler, former City of Slaton Chief of Police, has accepted a new position as the Slaton ISD Chief of Police.  (Trevor Barnes was approved by the City Council as the Chief of Police for Slaton.)

Slaton Lake Project Approval

The City has approved to move forward on the Slaton Lake Project with the support of the Lions Club.   The project will be designed to develope the lake area as a park with trees, walking path, grass, park benches among other compliments.
