The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has closed FM 835 at Buffalo Springs Lake to through traffic due to heavy drainage flooding a segment of the roadway.
Southbound FM 835 traffic continues to have access to Buffalo Springs Lake but through traffic wanting to connect to US 84 should seek an alternate route around the area.
Northbound FM 835 and US 84 traffic making their way to Buffalo Springs Lake should use Loop 331 to east Loop 289 to connect with southbound FM 835.
Motorists are encouraged to check road conditions at drivetexas.gov for weather-related closures and openings.
