Teachers Awarded Mini-Grants from Slaton Area Endowment

Four Slaton teachers were awarded Mini-Grants from Mercy Ministries Slaton Area Endowment at the Celebration Reception held at the Harvey House Thursday evening.  To qualify local teachers from Slaton ISD and St Joseph’s School were required to submit grant applications for acceptance.  A board reviewed the applications and approved four to be awarded funds for their projects.
