Slaton Tigerettes beat Post 42-35 – District
The Slaton Tigerettes beat the Post Lady Antelopes Friday night in their district opener. The girls play Idalou (here) Tuesday for their second district game. The boys begin district Friday, Jan 10, as they travel to Roosevelt with the Varsity Girls and JV Boys & Girls.
Coach Dustin Klafka is coaching the Tigerettes for the first time this year.

“The Arroyo” Movie opens Jan 20 in Lubbock with folks from Slaton!

OK Slatonites, its finally happening. The world premier of “The Arroyo” will be at Premier Cinema located at the South Plains mall in Lubbock. It will open with an invitation only premier for the cast and crew on Jan. 20th. The movie will run from Jan.21th thru Jan. 25th. Come on out and see how many Slatonites you can spot in the movie.
