Uncategorized Police Chief Resigns June 25, 2013 Slaton Police Chief, Steve Wheeler, resigned during a special Slaton City Council meeting on Monday. Wheeler plans on staying involved in the Slaton Community. Officer Trevor Barnes was appointed as interim chief.
