Food for Thought – Spread happiness wherever you go!
Just for Laughs – Three mice are sitting around boasting about their strengths. The first mouse says, “Mouse traps are nothing! I do push-ups with the bar.”
The second mouse pulls a pill from his pocket, swallows it, and says with a grin, “That was rat poison.”
The third mouse got up to leave. The first mouse says, “Where do you think you’re going?”
“It’s time to go home and chase the cat.”
Balloon volleyball on Thursday was a fun time. We are getting a little better. Our volleys last more than 3 times across the net. Those who played were Ella Mae Hall, Carolyn Walker, Imogene Davis, Pat Dawson and Janis King (team 1). Steve Campbell, Brian Rape, Donovan Reader, George Pershall, and Janet James (team 2). Each team won a game. Come join us on May 8 to play balloon volleyball and have some fun.
Bingo on Monday had 19 players waiting to yell Bingo-Bingo. The secret prize was won by Janet James. The blackout amount of $35.27 was won by Karen Horn. Come join us next Monday for lunch and stay to play Bingo.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (April 21) HFF from 10-12. Bingo from 1-2. Tuesday (April 22) Calvert from 11-12. Wednesday (April 23) B and A Day, Bridge from 1-4. Friday (April 25) Encompass – talk on fall prevention and exercise starting during lunch.
Mow delivers for April 7th – 11th were done by the First Baptist Church. Those who served were Beverly Frazier, Brian Rape, Jolene Fondy, Annie Kenney, Mary Edmunds, Sandy Self, Gloria Olivares, Beverly Montgomery, and Anita King.
MOW deliveries for April 21 – 25 is the responsibility of Hearts Together Church of Christ.
