Food for thought – Don’t sweat the small stuff – and it’s all small stuff.
What were you doing last week? At the center they were playing Dominoes, Pool, Bingo, and Am-Track. Plus there is always a lot of laughter. Come join us for a day of fun and laughter. It beats sitting at home.
Bingo on Monday had 28 players. There were two secret prizes. The winners were Beverly Droemer and Pascal Prieto. The blackout amount of $56.62 was won by George Colegio.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (Jan. 27) Bingo from 1-2. Tuesday (Jan. 28) Calvert from 11-12. Monday (Feb. 3) HFF from 10-12. Bingo 1-2.
Just for Laughs – The new housekeeper answered the telephone and replied, “Yes, you are correct.” Again the phone rang and the housekeeper answered it. “Yes ma’am, it certainly is!” “Who was that?” asked the owner of the house. “I really don’t know,” she replied. “Some woman kept saying, ‘it’s a long-distance call from Canada,’ and I said, ‘it certainly is!’”
Mow delivers for Jan. 13 – 17 was done by Hearts Together Church of Christ. Those who served were Dee Walton, Mary Ann Gordon, Curtis Baker, Robert Hurst, Barbara Parks, Ronda Sikes, Anita King, Penny King, Brenda Brown, Guy Brown, Marvin Self, and Glenn Culver.
