HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ALL!
Don’t forget our MOW breakfast! This takes place on Sat. Feb. 15 from 8-9:30 a.m. We will be serving scrambled eggs, ham, sausage gravy, biscuits, juice, coffee and jellies. Come join us at 230 W. Lynn for good food and visiting with your friends.
We have two events taking place on Thursday Feb. 20. Odyssey Hospice will entertain us during lunch with music. Then at 1:00 Hillcrest Manor will be holding Bingo. They will supply the prizes.
Our condolences go out to the family of Travis Culpepper. You will be missed.
Bingo on Monday had 20 players. We had two secret prizes which were won by Connie Garza and Monica Urias. The blackout amount of $48.57 was split by Mona Ramirez and Karen Horn.

Just for Laughs – Two guys are in a car.The driver comes to a stoplight and goes right through it. His friend says, “What are you doing?” The driver says, “It’s okay; my brother does it all the time.” They come up to another stoplight and go right through. His friend says, “You are out of your mind.” The driver says, “It’s okay; my brother does it all the time.” They come up to a green light and he stops. His friend says, “It’s green-go.” The driver replies, “Oh, no, I can’t. My brother might be coming!”
Mow delivers for Feb. 3 – 7 were done by the Slaton Care Center. Those who served were Lisa Yarbroy Farmer, Kristen Coffee, Crystal Pemburton, Kandi Melton, Brenda Meurer, Monica Hernandez and Ray Conner.
MOW deliveries for Feb. 17 – 21 is the responsibility of the First Baptist Church.
