Food for thought – Positive thinking – negative thinking – what are you thinking?
Our B and A Day had 13 people celebrating birthdays. Those celebrating were Alex Rivas, David Brake, Wayne Liles, Wilma White, Alpha Grice, Vysta Beard, Marolyn Rinne, Coy Rinne, Jay Lacy, Jo Lacy, Georgia Holland, Dwayne Walters and Rob Hiner. Our Anniversary celebrants were Coy and Carolyn Rinne (46 yrs.). Thank you for celebrating with us.
Bridge after lunch had 4 tables. Those playing were Jolene Fondy, Bob Adams, Pat Davis, Troyce Wood, Jo Ann Williams, Sandra Voigt, J.D. Zinck, Marge Zinck, Rob Hiner, Max Robertson, Jimaileen Jenson, Kaia Hawley, Ralph Bravoco, Steve Campbell, Margaret Edwards, and Alma Jean Kennedy. The winners were Pat Davis and Sandra Voigt.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (Sept. 9) Bingo 1-2, Flu Shots 10-12. Tuesday (Sept. 10) Calvert from 11-12.
Bingo on Tuesday had 22 players. The secret prize was won by Mary Galindo. The blackout amount of $50.22 was won by Sandy Goodner.
Just for laughs – The manager of a glass and window company advertised in the paper for experienced glaziers. Since a good glass man is hard to find, he was pleased when a man who called about the job said he had twelve years of experience.
“Where have you worked as a glazier?” the manager asked.
The man replied, “Krispy Kreme.”
Mow delivers for Aug. 26 – 30 were done by Bible Baptist Church. Those who served were Beverly Frazier, Mickie Fondy, Donovan Reader, Jim St.Pierre, David Jenkins, Patricia Mc Intire, Richard Edwards, Jerry Copeland, Anita King and Dru Richardson.
