Food for Thought – Today is going to be an extraordinary day!
Our monthly 42 game had one table. Those who played were Margaret Phillips, Jimmie Pettigrew, Steve Colleps and Dwayne Walters. We will work on getting more 42 players next month.
Friday, Amy from Calvert entertained us with song during lunch. She will be back on Friday June 27th. If you missed her this Friday be sure and come in June. Trust me—you will enjoy her singing!
Bingo on Monday had 23 players. The secret prize was won by Joyce Clark. The blackout amount of $50.27 was won by Mary Maldonado. Last week Monica was here for Bingo. It was great to have her back.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (June 2) HFF from 10-12. Bingo from 1-2. Monday (June 9) Bingo from 1-2. Lifespan will be giving us information on exercise from 2:00-2:30. Thursday (June 12) Balloon Volleyball starting at 1:00.

An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat was attacked by the Lochness Monster. In one graceful flip, the legendary beast tossed the atheist high into the air. Then it opened its mouth to swallow both the man and the boat. As the man sailed head over heals, he cried out, “Oh, My God! Help me!”
Immediately, the ferocious attack scene froze, leaving the atheist hanging in midair. Then a booming voice came out from the clouds. “I though you don’t believe in me!”
“Come on, God, give me a break,” the man pleaded. “Two minutes ago I didn’t believe in the Lochness monster either!”
