Slaton High School is hosting a Veteran’s Day Program on Tuesday, Nov. 11th at 10:00am in the high school gymnasium. The district is very excited about this program and have many student organizations putting in extra time to get ready. History classes are writing personal invitations to local veterans and want to include all local citizens in this campaign. SISD is also planning on recognizing family members of people in the community that are currently serving. If you have served our country or have any family members you would like us to invite or recognize, please email Jacinda Langen, SHS History Teacher (jlangen@slatonisd.net) with names, mailing addresses, and branch of service.
