Francisco Ruiz
(Slaton) Rosary for Francisco Ruiz, 93 of Slaton, will be Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., in Englunds Chapel. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Englunds Chapel with Rev. Chacko Thadathil, officiating. Interment followed in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Francisco was born October 5th, 1922 in Beltran, TX to Pablo and Crencencia Gonzales Ruiz. He moved to Slaton with family and went to work as a young man in the farming community, retiring in his Seventies. He married Gregoria Torres in 1943 in Taylor, Texas .He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Francisco was preceded in death by his wife, Gregoria in October of 1990,
Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Frances Guitierrez , Mary and Johnny Peralez, Manuel and Gloria Ruiz , Andrew and Mary Ruiz all of Slaton, Sally Arguello of Dallas, John and Florence Ruiz of Killeen, Joe and Renea Ruiz of Lubbock, along with Twenty-one grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren, 32 great- great grandchildren.
