Wilson- Naoma “Shorty” Moore, 91 of Wilson, Texas went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas.
Shorty was born Thursday, February 11, 1926 in Wilson, Texas. Shorty married Russell “Runt” Moore on March 8, 1948 in Wilson, TX. She worked as the City Secretary for 25 years in Wilson before retiring in 1996 and serving 12 years as the Municipal Judge.
Shorty was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Wilson and very active.
Surviving are 3 sons, a daughter, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will be available for visitation, 6:30 PM, Monday October 23, 2017 at Englunds 1400 Woodrow Rd., Slaton, TX 79364.
A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Wilson, TX on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Green Memorial Cemetery, Wilson, TX.
