Slaton High School is excited to announce our Students of the Month for September, 2015.
Mikayla Grosz, Slaton High School Senior – Drum Major for Tiger Marching Band. She provides outstanding leadership, always willing to help in and out of the classroom. She is also active in NHS and FCCLA. Angel Lopez, SHS Senior – a very intelligent, quiet student who relates well to his classmates. He is a creative and positive thinker who hopes to make an impact in the world after graduation. Michael King – SHS Junior – a respectful and responsible student who displays great leadership ability in the classroom.Kelsey Robinson, Slaton High School Junior – a stellar student with a quiet personality, very respectful. She is a very kind, bright, knowledgeable and talented student. She is a creative thinker. Amber Maldonado – SHS Sophomore – A student who wants to learn and is genuinely interested in bettering herself. She exhibits a positive, respectful attitude in and out of the classroom.Garrett Emerson, Slaton High School Sophomore – A very quiet student with a commanding personality that shows his ability through quiet intelligence Jeremiah Alcorta – SHS Freshmen – A quiet and polite young man who listens attentively and always works hard in the classroom. He is always willing to help other classmates when his assignments are finished.Laine Pinkert – SHS Freshmen – She is an incredible, sweet young lady that models grace in and out of the classroom.
