Food for Thought – Spread some joy each day.
Our MOW breakfast had 65 people enjoying good food and visiting with friends. We received a total of $523.06 in donations. Thank you for your support. Those who served were Jeannette Bradford, Elizabeth Clark, Jo Lacy, Sandy Goodner, Janis King, Martha Laureles and Donovan Reader.
. Bingo on Monday had 27 players. The secret prize was won by Martha Laureles. The blackout amount of $57.52 was won by Ada May Culpepper. Come join us next Monday for lunch and stay to play Bingo.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Quilt raffle daily – benefits our MOW program. Friday (Aug. 22) Amy from Calvert will sing at lunch time. Monday (Aug. 25) Bingo from 1-2. Tuesday (Aug. 26) Calvert from 11-12 Wednesday (Aug. 27) B and A Day- Bridge from 1-4. Thursday (Aug. 28) Dee Neill from SPAG will be giving a presentation on Medicare Part D.

* KSSL Radio will be carrying the Slaton Tigers first game next Friday beginning with Regan Garisson and Coaches Corner at 7:00pm.
* At the Lubbock Speedway the Kssl Brady’s Dairy Queen Sportmod 57 is currently in 6th place after 5 weeks of motor issues still holding strong, Racing 8 pm Lubbock Speedway 114 & MLK. Tonight double main events to make up for the rain-out last week. Tonight is the championship for the modified class.
