The Meurers enjoyed a concert with Michael Martin Murphy in Stephenville, Texas last week.  They had time to visit with Murphy after the concert.  Murphy’s connection to Slaton is tied to the deceased Stinson Behlen, who made several of Murphy’s musical instruments he uses in his shows.
