Slaton SALUTES unknown veterans escort to San Antonio
Unknown Soldier Procession
Today an Unknown Soldier Procession passed through Slaton. It is my understanding that there was remains of 3 Vietnam War and 2 Korea War soldiers. The procession started in Amarillo and will end at the final resting place in San Antonio. The Slaton community paid tribute to these Heros. (Pix by Jerry Kitten & Victor Armenta)
