Robert “Cheta” Hiracheta

rhMemorial Services for Robert Hiracheta, 53, of Lubbock will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at The Chapel in Broadway Funeral Directors, 1901 Broadway Lubbock, TX 79401. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. Robert passed away March 9, 2017, in Lubbock he was born in Slaton on July 12, 1963, to Isidoro Hiracheta and Delfina Vega. He was very much so an outdoorsman; he loved golfing, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching sports; he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His greatest passion however was being a loving father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Isidoro Hiracheta and wife, Julie Hiracheta. He leaves behind a son, Matthew Hiracheta of Lubbock; daughter, Brooke (Evan) Davis and daughter, Keila Hiracheta, both of Lubbock; mother, Delfina Vega (Ezequiel) of Lubbock; his beloved companion, Kay Wimmer Buxkemper of Lubbock; siblings, David (Lillian) Hiracheta of New Braunfels, Teresa (David) Rodriguez of Kyle, Michael (Rita) Hiracheta of Lubbock and Stephanie Vega of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
