What is Slaton Area Endowment?
PRESS RELEASE
Contact: Carla Stricklin, Advisory Board Member 806-777-0732
WHEN LIFE’S BEEN GOOD TO YOU, IT’S GOOD TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK.
November 9, 2016 (Slaton, TX) – The Slaton Area Endowment serves primarily Slaton and the surrounding area by supporting projects that address community needs. The Endowment will help today, tomorrow and countless tomorrows to come. For most of us, that means contributing to local charitable causes periodically. But those who are especially grateful – or those to whom life has been especially generous sometimes want to do more.
What is an Endowment?… An endowment fund is a permanent fund, the principal of which is preserved and invested for long term growth and appreciation. Grants are made from the annual earnings of the endowment. Over time, the value of the annual grants will far exceed the value of the original gifts.
Leading the Way… The SLATON AREA ENDOWMENT Advisory Board is made up of people of vision who understand the value of a community endowment and hope to inspire others to join the endeavor. These local civic and community leaders ensure your gift is administered efficiently and that your charitable intent is honored.
Who benefits?… The Slaton Area Endowment makes philanthropy and its benefits available to everyone. This belief is at the core of who we are. Whatever your gift, there is a place for you at the Slaton Area Endowment.
INDIVIDUALS, BUSINESSES AND FAMILIES have a simple and effective way to provide lasting help to their favorite charitable causes. Make an outright gift, or establish a fund that supports the causes you recommend. Either way, your help is here to stay.
CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS that are in, or are primarily serving residents of Slaton can turn to us for help with projects that address community needs. As a permanent endowment, we ensure that a pool of resources is ready to help today, tomorrow and countless tomorrows to come.
ATTORNEYS, FINANCIAL PLANNERS AND ACCOUNTANTS can help their clients to fulfill their charitable and tax goals. As an affiliate of the Community Foundation of West Texas, we have experience with even the most complex forms of giving. We combine local insight with the proven expertise of an experienced community foundation.
Help support Giving Tuesday by making a donation to the Slaton Area Endowment. The process is fast, easy, and secure. We truly appreciate any support you can provide. It will benefit a great cause! If you can’t make a donation at this point, help us reach our goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to our page!
