Slaton High School College and Career Night, October 18th, 2016
Slaton High School is excited to announce Grand Central Station, our annual College and Career Readiness night Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the high school. Slaton High School established this College and Career Night in October, 2013. It has been a tremendous success with over 600 people in attendance each year. Colleges, universities and trade schools, in addition to businesses and US Armed Forces will be available to discuss the opportunities they offer to today’s students. The event creates the convenience for students and parents to visit these colleges/universities and businesses without leaving the community. It is a great opportunity for SHS students and parents to explore post-graduation options.
West Texas Graduation Services will be available for students and parents to order class rings and graduation supplies. A representative from LEARN will be on hand to assist with FAFSA applications or questions.
