Tiger Slatonfrom Coach Martin

Slaton Tiger,

The Football Coaching Staff is excited about the beginning of the 2016 Football Season, as we know you are. Hope all is well with your summer and you have had time to relax and enjoy this time of year. Fall football practice is quickly approaching and we hope that you have been preparing your mind and body for the upcoming season. We will hit the ground running on August 1st  beginning at 6:50 am for weights. Make sure you begin drinking plenty of fluids (Water & Sports Drinks) the week before so that your body is ready for the heat. Also, all incoming freshmen, and juniors need a new physical on file with Coach Martin before we begin. Attached you will find a practice schedule for August along with a schedule for when school starts. If you plan on working through the season you will need to adjust your work schedule. All practices are mandatory from start to finish. We look forward to seeing you on August 1st at 6:45am.
