Menu: December 16th – December 20th
Monday 16th – Beef Goulash, Navy Beans, Broccoli, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Wheat Roll, 2% Milk, Tea
Tuesday 17th – King Ranch Casserole, Spanish Rice, Pinto Beans, Brownie, Tortilla, 2% Milk, Tea
Wednesday 18th – Roast Turkey, Savory Bread Dressing, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Pineapple Tidbits, Wheat Roll, 2% Milk, Tea
Thursday 19th – Baked Ham/Pineapple, Lima Beans, Chuck Wagon Corn, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Wheat Roll, 2% Milk, Tea
Friday 20th – BBQ Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Carrot Raisin Salad, Baked Apple, Cornbread, 2% Milk, Tea
We had a slow week, the weather kept a lot of people from coming to the center. We had a few hardy people (or crazy) that came out for lunch. Nothing was going to stop those who wanted to play amtrack.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (Dec. 16) HFF from 10 – 12 –Bingo from 1 -2. Tuesday (Dec. 17) Monthly 42 game starting at 1:00. Wednesday (Dec. 18) B & A Day. Monday (Dec. 23) Bingo from 1-2. We will be closed the 24th and 25th for Christmas.
Just for laughs – A third – grade class went to an art museum. They were instructed to sit and wait until the guide was ready to begin the tour. Two boys, however, decided to explore on their own. They walked down a hallway and entered a room filled with modern art pieces. “Quick,” said one, “Run – before they say we did it.”
MOW delivers for Dec. 2 -6 were done by Bible Baptist Church. Those who served were Beverly Frazier, Earl Barksdale, Jerry Copeland, Mickie Fondy, David Jenkins, Ray Conner, Robert Hurst, Dru Richardson, Donovan Reader, and Marvin Self.

Bingo on Monday had 24 people waiting to yell Bingo – Bingo. We had three secret prizes won by John Ramirez, Jay Lacy, and Rufina Perez. The blackout amount of $51.60 was won by John Ramirez.
