Food for thought – He who laughs frightens away his problems.
Come by and see our beautiful Christmas tree and all the other decorations. Our tree decorating party was held on Tuesday evening – the 10th of December. We had a good crowd and the pizza and cookies were great. A big thank you to all who helped.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (Dec. 23) Bingo from 1-2. The center will be closed for Christmas Dec. 24th and 25th. Merry Christmas!
Bingo on Monday had 26 people playing. The secret prize was won by Margaret Edwards. The blackout amount of $57.25 was won by Imogene Davis.
Just for laughs – A fisherman in a small boat sees another man get another small boat, open his tackle box, and take out a mirror. Curious, the fisherman asks what the mirror is for. The other man says, “That’s how I catch fish. I shine the sunlight on the water, fish come up to the top, and I nab them.” “Does that really work?” “You bet it does.” “Well, I’ll give you ten dollars for that mirror.” “Sure.” The transaction is completed. The fisherman says, “By the way how many fish have you caught this week?” “You’re the sixth.”
Mow delivers for Dec. 9 – 13 were done by St. Joseph Catholic Church. Those who served were Robert Hurst, Mark Jones, Christy Jones, Roger Kitten, Janice Kitten, Arlene Steffens, Loretta Kitten, Richard Len Dodson, Edward Gaydos, and Ronnie Schilling.
