We were blessed twice last week. Lodge 1094 members had lunch with us on Tuesday and presented us a donation check for $1000.00. The Slaton Area Endowment presented a grant of $1500.00 to one of our grant writer, Steve Campbell, at half time Friday night. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone.
Come to the center on Saturday Oct. 21. We are having a garage sale to benefit our MOW program. You can do your Christmas shopping early. We will have toys, jewelry, crafts, blankets, Christmas and fall decorations. Plus many miscellaneous items. Sale starts at 8:00 a.m

Monday’s Bingo, Oct. 10 had 30 players. The secret prize was won by Connie Garza. The blackout amount of $50.87 was won by Imogene Davis. Monday’s Bingo, Oct. 16 had 32 players. The secret prize was won by Gloria Anzley. The blackout amount $57.07 was won by Mary Flores. Come Monday for lunch and stay to play.
Raffle
We are raffling an original acrylic painting by E. Lee to benefit our MOW program. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Come by the center to see the painting and purchase a ticket.

MOW deliveries for Oct. 23 – 27 is the responsibility of First Methodist Church.
