Finally, in typical Tiger fashion, our 4x400m relay ran an incredible race and made things exciting for the entire crowd.
Isaiah Hawkins started out the race, running a very strong leg, and handed off the stick to Carlos Garcia in 3rd place.
Carlos battled for places with both Crane and Kermit and proceeded handed off the stick to George Wright in second place, having passed Kermit.
George continued to fight the entire lap with other schools, and in the last 100m held off 2 other teams to hand off the baton to Ricky Medrano in first place.
Ricky continued the trend, running one of his best splits of the year to finish the Relay with a season best time (by over 2 seconds) of 3:25.11 and a second place finish to advance to Regionals.
