Tiger boys competed in Post last Thursday and Friday at the district track meet for a chance to advance to the Area track meet.
The varsity athletes who advance to Area are listed below.

In field events the Tigers advanced in 3 events.
Jameson Jackson took 2nd in the shot put with a personal best throw of 42′ .5″
Jameson also placed 4th in discus to advance with a competition personal best of 133′.
In the individual races:
Ricky Medrano won the district champion title in the 800m.
Anthony Torres in two races (3rd in the 3200m, 2nd in the 1600m)
Jordan Garcia also in two races (4th in the 3200m, 3rd in the 1600m)
And Joel Cueto joins them in one race (4th in the 1600m)
The Tigers also advance their 4x400m relay. The team of Isaiah Hawkins, Carlos Garcia, George Wright, and Ricky Medrano ran a season best time of 3:27.9 to take 2nd place.
The Area track meet will be this Thursday, April 21, in Denver City.
