Viola Mae Reardon (Slaton) Chapel Services for Viola Mae (Walton) Reardon, 77, of Lubbock will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 AM in Englunds Chapel with Dr Cleve Kerby officiating. The family will have a visitation before the service from 10 AM to Service time. Services are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Viola was born July 6th, 1938 to Charles H. and Louella (Eblen) Walton in Slaton TX. She graduated from Slaton High School and Texas Tech University. Viola was an educator for 21 years in the Lubbock ISD system, retiring in 2002. Viola married James Robert Reardon in 1959 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, they followed the Air Force deployment Stratford Conn., Middletown PA., Sembach Germany Air base, returned to Lubbock in 1967, and made their home in Lubbock.
Those who will cherish her memory include Husband of the home, a son Michael James and wife Jenni of Houston along with three grandchildren, Gillian, Megan, and Brendan and a sister Nancie Dunlap of Lake Jackson.
