Each year, the Mercy Ministries Slaton Area Endowment will award grants for a wide range of community needs through its discretionary grants program. Donors who set no restrictions on the use of their gifts, allow the Mercy Ministries Slaton Area Endowment Advisory Board to assess community needs and respond by awarding grants to the nonprofit organizations that undertake our community’s most critical work. Discretionary funds enable us to support long-term solutions, respond quickly to emergencies, and meet changing needs in our community.

The Mercy Ministries Slaton Area of Endowment, an affiliate Lubbock Area Foundation, provides a way for each and every citizen to lend a hand that’s always ready to help when needed – now and for generations to come.
