Once again I am attempting to locate anyone with a cellar or basement for Non-Public Use or Public Use.
NON-PUBLIC USE
This information will not be used for the public, because only a property owner can do that but this information would be a major resource for the first responders should something happen within the Slaton area.
This information would be used for 1st responders by allowing us to know that this structure should have a basement or cellar so in turn increases the time it takes for the rescuers to find and assist you during your time of need, because most protected properties have the greatest survival rate. Areas which do not have underground protection would require a more detailed search and rescue procedure. All of the structures would be checked but with location of the cellars and basements would make it a more efficient accountability effort for our responders. Please consider listing all of the areas that you may be familiar with such as other family members, or friends.
PUBLIC USE
If anyone knows any church or civic origination which might have an underground facility for the public’s use please have them contact me so I can update our emergency response plan and make that information public so all of our citizens have a safe place to take shelter.
