* The Houston Astros beat the New York Yankees 5-2 victory last night. The Astros lead the series 2-0. The final game is today at noon.
* The Texas Rangers beat the Miami Marlins 5-4 yesterday. No Game today. Royals for 3 starting tomorrow.
* Rolando McClain practices one day and doesn’t the next for the Dallas Cowboys.
* WNBA,  San Antonio will play Minnesota in the first game of the Western Conference semifinals tonight.
* Many High School final season scrimmages are lined up for Thursday Night. Slaton vs Trinity Christian; Southland vs Motley County.
* KSSL Radio will be carrying the Slaton Tigers first game next week as Coach Terry and the Tiger Nation host Floydada, Aug 29.

2014 season ticket holders have an option to purchase the same tickets for 2015. They may pick up these tickets between August 10th and August 21st. Option tickets not claimed by Friday, August 21st @ 4:00 p.m. will be sold. Tickets are for the following games:

September 4th – Slaton vs. Snyder @ 7:30 p.m.
September 11th – Slaton vs. New Deal (Homecoming) @ 7:30 p.m.
October 23rd – Slaton vs. Brownfield (District game) @ 7:30 p.m.
November 6th – Slaton vs. Denver City (District game and Parent Night) @ 7:30 p.m.
