* Dallas Cowboys corner-back Orlando Scandrick is out for the season after tearing two ligaments in his right knee.

SPOTLIGHTING SENIORS

The monthly 42 game had one table. Those who played were Sandy Goodner, Eunice Montgomery, Imogene Davis and Jo Lacy. Next monthly 42 game will be Tuesday August 18 from 1-4.

Our B and A Day had 6 birthday celebrants. Those with birthdays were Connie Duncan, Glen Hartley, Ella Mae Hall, Maybelle Kern, Johnny Vela, and Gerry Waugh. Those celebrating an anniversary were Albert and Marolyn Rinne. Congratulations to all.

Bridge on B and A Day had 3 tables. Those who played were Bob Adams, Sheelah Pagendorm, Max Robertson, Ralph Bravoco, Jimaileen Jenson, Troyce Wood, Steve Campbell,  Pat Davis, Sandra Voigt, J. D. Zinck, Marge Zinck, and Alma Jean Kennedy. The winners were  J. D. and Marge Zinck.

The garage sale to benefit our MOW program was a success. Thanks to your support we raised a total of $778.63. A big thanks to Vanessa Valadez, Eva Herrera, Karen Branscum, and  Sandy Goodner for all their help setting up and working on Saturday.

Bingo on Monday had 21 players hoping to win a prize. The secret prize was won by Sandy  Goodner. The blackout amount of $40.72 was won by Mona Ramirez. Come join us next Monday for lunch then stay to play Bingo from 1:00-2:00.

Upcoming events – Mark your calendar! Daily – Raffle tickets for Dallas Cowboys/Eagles game $5.00 each or 6 for $25.00. Mon. (Aug. 3) HFF from 10-12 – Bingo from 1-2.

MOW deliveries for July 20 – July 24 were done by First Methodist Church. Those who served were Richard Edwards, Anita King, Hayley Klemke, Rayley Klemke, Heath Gary,  Bryson Gary, Nathan McLinsky, Jan Hoover, Taylie McLinsky, Jetter Thompson, Tracy Fogerson, and Jayden T.

Mow deliveries for Aug. 3 – Aug. 7 is the responsibility of Bible Baptist Church.
