Nathan's MedicalA fund has been set up online at www.gofundme.com/nathanemerson

This fund is being set up to assist my brother, Nathan Emerson, in helping to pay for costs associated with his medical treatments. In November, Nathan was diagnosed with mucinous adenocarcenoma. This is a very rare form of cancer and as such he is being sent to Houston for treatment at MD Anderson. Please consider donating to his fund. Any amount helps and will go towards costs associated with travel for him and his family. They will need help with gas, food, hotels, etc. I can promise you that any funds will be MUCH appreciated. Thank you, in advance!!! -Krystal

UPDATE #10
Nathan went back to MD Anderson this week. The scans showed the chemo kept the tumor from getting any larger so today they did exploratory surgery to get eyes on exactly what they’re dealing with. The outcome of that is as well as can be expected – he is a good candidate for the major surgery. So, the surgery is scheduled for May 29th to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue. While they’re in there they may need to remove some of his intestine and reconnect. There are also some small tumors they want to get rid of so they’ll do a chemo flush inside his abdomen. He’ll have about a three week recovery period afterwards. Continued prayers are always appreciated. We love you all!
