Slaton 12 Roosevelt 9 – Tiger Baseball Moves Up!
by Hunter Henzler (pic – Irma Lazo Jarmillo)
“I speak on behalf of Coach Medley & myself when I say that nights like tonight are why we’re in the coaching business.
There were so many times our young men faced adversity and could’ve checked out, but that’s not who they are.
They fought and fought to the end, and came out with the W. Due to that fight they earned the final playoff spot, and we will play Presidio next week at a place & time TBA.
Thank you to the incredible crowd that came out to support the boys in their fight for the playoff spot. That’s what it’s all about.”
