SLATON MEET – Powerlifting Results!

From: Hunter Henzler

1st of all-
I am humbled and honored to have been a part of our first powerlifting meet to be hosted in Slaton.  To all the workers, volunteers, parents, employees, and the community of Slaton as a whole- thank you for helping this meet go on- in the end it’s all about the kids, and this meet was a huge benefit to them.  On behalf of myself, and on behalf of the kids in our program- thank you!

I also want to say thank you to our Administration team for supporting me in hosting this meet, even in spite of the weather.  As a community we pulled it off, and I sincerely want to thank them for that as well.

Food for Thought – Optimism-See with new eyes. Discover what truly matters.

We had one table for the monthly 42 game. Those playing were Margaret Phillips, Jimmy Pettigrew, Imogene Davis, and Sandy Goodner. We will do better next month on Tuesday March 17.

Our Skip-Bo Day had 2 tables of players. Those who played were Pat Dawson, Sandy Goodner, Jo Lacy, Janet James, Janis King, Ada May Culpepper, Imogene Davis, Ella Mae Hall, and Eva Herrera. We need to play Skip-Bo more often so we don’t forget how to play.
