Slaton Lake Project – Lions Club
by Mike Lamberson (iphone photo by Mark Meurer)
As the new president of the Slaton Lions Club , we as an organization need to move in a pro-active approach to our community. It is important for the Slaton Lions Club to take a strong stand in the community and help in areas that need support and promote our community. The club needs to take on community wide project that support our children and have a positive impact on their growth. It would be an asset to the city for the Lions Club to adopt the fisher street park and improve it for community use and have a yearly kid fish time. The community of Slaton has a bright future and as civic leaders we need to be there to support the needs of the community. As president of the Slaton Lions I encourage people to join the Lions club or help support the future of Slaton by just being a volunteer for your community.
Thank You
Mike Lamberson
