Overnight US 87 bridge work scheduled

WHAT: Restricting Woodrow Road (CR 7600) access to US 87 to allow for bridge work

WHEN: Wednesday, June 18

WHERE: US 87 / Woodrow Road (CR 7600) interchange

EVENT: Beginning at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, June 18, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will restrict Woodrow Road traffic’s access to US 87 to allow crews to safely set bridge deck panels on the new US 87 bridge.

Woodrow Road traffic will not have access to travel through the US 87 intersection and will be detoured around the work area via Loop 493 and US 87.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to drive with caution through the work zone for their safety and the safety of the workers. Work is anticipated to be completed by 6:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, and will take place weather permitting.
