Southland Milk Quality Team and Poultry Team

by Nick McCollister

The Texas Tech practice contest was this weekend and our Milk Quality team and Poultry team did really well.  Poultry came in fourth place once again out of 32 teams.  Bryce Meurer was 7th  high individual out of 120 contestants.  Way to go to both of these teams.  They are represented by a great bunch of students.  This coming weekend the students will judge at the Texas Tech Area II contest.  If they are in the top four in area they will advance to state competition at Bryan College Station on May 3rd.  Wish them luck!!!
