Buddy Holly SJ School

By St Joseph School

Over the last few weeks the SJS Choir has been researching, learning, loving, and appreciating everything about Buddy Holly! Mrs. Burch & Mrs. McMahan thought it would be super cool (and educational) to take them to the Buddy Holly Center and to Buddy Holly’s grave site. Between sites, they stopped at Cast Iron Grill to grab a bite to eat where lo and behold, Deacon Leroy Behnke & Deacon Adam Behnke were there waiting with a special guest: Miss Peggy Sue. THE ACTUAL PEGGY SUE! The Choir was overwhelmed and star struck with having lunch with her!!! Especially after they’ve been working so hard on learning the song Peggy Sue! Video to be uploaded later! Thank you to everyone who helped in making this field trip so spectacular!
