Monday 23rd – Beef Goulash, Navy Beans, Broccoli, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Wheat Roll, 2% Milk, Tea

Tuesday 24th – King Ranch Casserole, Spanish Rice, Pinto Beans, Brownie, Tortilla, 2% Milk, Tea

Wednesday 25th – Roast Turkey, Savory Bread Dressing, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Pineapple Tidbits, Wheat Roll, 2% Milk, Tea

Thursday 26th – Baked Ham/Pineapple, Lima Beans, Chuck Wagon Corn, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Wheat Roll, 2% Milk, Tea

Friday 27th – BBQ Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Carrot Raisin Salad, Baked Apple, Cornbread, 2% Milk, Tea

Just for LaughsA salesman, tired of his job, gave it up to become a policeman. Several months later, a friend asked him how he liked his new career.

“Well,” he replied, “the pay could be better, and the hours can be long, but what I like about it is that the customer is always wrong.”

Our MOW breakfast had 59 people enjoying good food and a lot of visiting. Thank you for your donations. Total donations received were $415. Those who served the breakfast were Jeannette Bradford, Sandy Goodner, Ramon Garcia, Danny Aguirre, Elizabeth Clark, Karen Branscum, Albert Rinne and Jo Lacy.

We played balloon volleyball last Thursday. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughter. Those who played were Ada Mae Culpepper, Pat Dawson, Janis King, Imogene Davis, Sandy Goodner, Donovan Reader, George Pershall, Carolyn Walker, Violet Hobbs, Ella Mae Hall, Janet James and Dwayne Walters.

Bingo had 22 players hoping to win a prize. The secret prize was won by Sandy Goodner. The blackout amount of $38.17 was won by Ada May Culpepper. Come join us for fun next Monday.

Upcoming events – Mark your calendar! – Mon. (Feb. 23) Shelia Westbrook from Hospice of the South Plains speaking at noon. Bingo from 1-2. Tues. (Feb. 24) Calvert from 11-12. Wed. (Feb. 25) B and A Day- Bridge from 1-4. Fri. (Feb. 27) Amy from Calvert will entertain us with song from 11:45-12:30.

Mow deliveries for Feb. 9 – 13 were done by Hearts Together Church of Christ. Those who served were Donovan Reader, Anita King, Sharon Trammell, Karen Branscum, Michelle Payne, Curtis Baker, Coy Rinne, Carolyn Rinne, Ramon Garcia and Gloria Olivaris.

Mow deliveries for Feb. 23 – 27 is the responsibility of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
