Food for Thought – Why do “fat chance” and “slim chance” mean the same thing?

Our monthly balloon volleyball game did not happen this past Thursday.  There were not enough people to play.  Mark your calendars for April 10 to play starting at 1:00.  We always have a lot of fun?  Come join us in April.

We want to thank those volunteers that give their time and service every week.  Money changers Janis King, Guadalupe Perez, Jeannette Bradford, Earl Eblen, and Margaret Edwards. Bingo caller Janis King, memorials Jeannette Bradford, and Karen Horn mopping floors.  A big thank you to all.

Just for Laughs – One cold winter day, a boy was standing outside a shoe store, praying to God for some socks or some shoes. Just then a lady walked up to him and said, “Is there something that I can help you with?”

He looked down at his feet and said, “Well, I would like some shoes.”

She grabbed his hand and took him into the shoe store.  She asked for a dozen pairs of socks and a pair of shoes.  They sat down, and the clerk put a pair of socks and shoes on the boy.

As the woman got up to leave, the boy thanked her.  She told him that if he ever needed anything else, to not be afraid to ask.

He looked at her and asked, “Are you God’s wife?”

Mow delivers for March 10 -14 was done by Bible Baptist Church. Those who served were Beverly Frazier, Tanner Walton, Trey Gates, John Logan, Patricia McIntire, Anita King, Mickie Fondy, and Donovan Reader.
