Food for thought – I wish you and yours a very Happy New Year.
We had 30 people playing Bingo on Monday Dec. 23. There were 3 secret prizes. Those who won were Valerie Alva, Margaret Edwards and Mary Galindo. The blackout amount of $59.90 was won by Donovan Reader. Monica Urias donated 2 Christmas prizes of $25.00 each. Names were drawn and the winners were Juanita Garza and Mary Galindo. Congratulations to all winners.
United delivered a check for $3963.38 last week. This was the total amount of donations received for the pie sale held in November. A big thank you to all who donated and those volunteers who helped collect the donations.
Bingo on Monday Dec. 30 had 27 hopeful players. The secret prize was won by Danny Aguirre. The blackout amount of $59.27 was split by Jo Lacy, Margaret Edwards, and Charlotte O’Connell.
Upcoming events – Mark your calendars! Monday (Jan. 6) HFF from 10-12. Bingo from 1-2. Thursday (Jan. 9) Volleyball from 1-4.

If you haven’t been to our center before please consider coming one day and check us out. Are you one of those that haven’t been to the center for a long time? We would be delighted to see you again, so come by and have lunch and visit with your friends.
We serve lunch starting at 12:00 – Mon. thru Fri. The cost for lunch is as follows: under 55 -$4.75, 55-59 – $3.00 those 60 and over a suggested donation of $3.00.

We play Bingo every Monday from 1-2.
Volleyball – 2nd Thursday each month starting at 1:00.
42 game – 3rd Tuesday each month from 1-4
Birthday and Anniversary Day – 4th Wednesday each month during lunch
Bridge – 4th Wednesday 1-4
Dominoes and pool daily
Every afternoon we play Amtrack, 42 or Skip-Bo depending on the number of people available to play. Watch this article for other information on our activities. Please come and join us for food and fun.
Mow delivers for Dec. 23 – 27 were done by the Guadalupe Catholic Church. Those who served were Christian Carmona, Michael King, Gabriel Olivares, Qwutyn Williams, Gloria Olivares, and Raymond Garcia.
MOW deliveries for Jan. 6 – Jan. 10 is the responsibility of the First Methodist Church.
